August 23, 2022: At its meeting on August 10, 2022, the Board supported the FDA's Emergency Use Authorization for Pharmacists to prescribe Paxlovid. The Board emphasized exercising professional judgement with respect to implementation, including careful clinical evaluation, documentation, and adequate staffing.
